Social Studies

This course will introduce students to socialization, exploring its processes, the key agents involved (like family, school, and peers), and the effects it has on individuals and society. Students will learn how socialization shapes behavior, values, and norms, helping people integrate into their communities.

The course will then focus on culture, examining cultural differences among Nigerians, including languages, traditions, and customs. Students will appreciate the uniqueness of Nigerian culture, learning how diverse ethnic and cultural identities come together to form a rich national heritage, while also understanding the importance of respecting and celebrating these differences.
