This course introduces students to foundational concepts in civic and social education, emphasizing the importance of values, culture, and family in building a cohesive society. It begins with a revision of last term’s work to reinforce prior learning, followed by an exploration of values, including their role in shaping individual behavior and community cohesion.

Students will delve into culture and social values, focusing on the role of religion and marriage in societal development, as well as the conditions for marriage to foster understanding of healthy family relationships. The course highlights the family as the basic unit of society and examines the concept of gender and its associated stereotypes, promoting awareness of equality and inclusivity.

The latter part of the course addresses accidents in schools, teaching students preventive measures and safety practices, and concludes with discussions on health issues, particularly the dangers of harmful substances. This segment equips students with knowledge to make informed decisions and maintain personal and communal well-being.
