About Course

This curriculum introduces students to the fundamentals of leadership and cooperation, highlighting how effective organization and teamwork contribute to personal and group success. Students will learn about resource preservation and the importance of using natural and human-made resources wisely. The lessons also address savings habits, the causes of poor savings, and the need for financial discipline. Further, students are introduced to individual and group sources of funds, fostering an early understanding of budgeting and financial responsibility.

In the latter part of the term, the focus shifts to resource distribution, employment opportunities, and wages and income, giving learners a practical view of economic systems and personal finance. The curriculum concludes with vital topics in communication and transportation, helping students understand how these systems support social and economic development. Together, these topics aim to prepare students for responsible citizenship and productive community life.

In the second half of the term, students dive into gymnastics, including activities with apparatus to develop coordination, strength, and flexibility. The curriculum also includes recreational activities, emphasizing the importance of leisure for physical and mental wellness. Finally, students explore direction and navigation through lessons on the four cardinal points, enhancing their spatial awareness and orientation skills—an essential component for outdoor and physical education.
