About Course
This term focuses on helping students understand the effective use of resources, societal roles, and global cooperation. It begins with the concept of resource utilization, where students will learn how natural and human-made resources are used for development. The labour force is introduced to highlight the importance of human effort in production and economic activities. Lessons on transport and communication emphasize the role of water and air transportation in connecting people and places, enabling trade, and promoting development.
Midway through the term, attention shifts to gender discrimination and group conflicts, exploring causes and promoting cooperation among diverse groups. The curriculum also introduces students to international organizations, their roles in global peace, aid, and development. In the final part of the term, students are educated on peacebuilding, the dangers of drug abuse, and the differences between synthetic and naturally occurring drugs, encouraging healthy choices and responsible citizenship.
