About Course

This term’s Physical and Health Education curriculum offers students a diverse exploration of sports, fitness, and recreational activities. The term begins with the introduction of hockey and table tennis, where students will learn the basic rules, techniques, and gameplay of each sport. Emphasis will also be placed on the importance of maintaining sports facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and longevity of equipment and spaces used for physical activities.

The focus then shifts to physical fitness, where students will engage in exercises that improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. Gymnastics is also introduced, both in its basic form and with the use of apparatus, promoting balance, coordination, and agility. Toward the end of the term, students will explore recreational activities and be introduced to basic geography skills through the understanding of direction using the four cardinal points. These topics aim to develop students’ physical abilities, teamwork, and awareness of their environment.
