About Course
This term the course introduces students to athletics, focusing on track and field events, helping them understand the rules, techniques, and importance of physical fitness through practical participation. Early weeks cover a review of past lessons and gradually move into the different areas of track and field, emphasizing skill development, discipline, and teamwork.
As the term progresses, the focus broadens to personal, school, and community health, teaching students about hygiene, wellness, and the role they play in maintaining a healthy environment. Toward the end, students learn about Nigeria’s sports heroes, exploring their achievements and contributions to national pride, inspiring students to value sportsmanship and hard work.
