About Course
This term’s Physical and Health Education curriculum introduces students to ball games, focusing on skill development, rules, and team coordination. Across the first three weeks, students engage in various contact sports such as football, basketball, or volleyball, learning gameplay techniques, safety measures, and the importance of fair play. The next set of lessons shifts attention to non-contact games like athletics, table tennis, and badminton, where students develop personal discipline, precision, and physical fitness through individual or less physically intense group sports.
In the final part of the term, students explore pathogens, diseases, and their prevention. These lessons equip learners with knowledge about common germs, how diseases spread, and effective preventive measures such as hygiene, vaccinations, and healthy habits. This combination of physical activity and health education helps promote a balanced lifestyle, encouraging students to stay active while also understanding how to protect and care for their bodies.
