About Course

This term in Physical and Health Education, you will learn how to stay healthy and strong by taking care of your body and your environment. You will begin by understanding how to keep your surroundings clean and safe in your home, school, and community. You will also learn the importance of environmental health—like proper waste disposal and keeping water sources clean—to prevent sickness and help everyone live well.

You will also learn how to keep your body fit through exercises and body conditioning. Fun activities like gymnastics will help you improve your balance and movement. You will discover the different classes of food—such as energy-giving, body-building, and protective foods—and understand how they help the body. Finally, you will be taught about nutrition and the importance of eating a balanced diet to stay strong and healthy.
