About Course
This term, pupils will begin by learning about basketball, including how it is played and the safety rules that must be followed to avoid injuries. They will then explore the different types of movement and sounds made by humans, animals, and machines, helping them understand how living things and objects move and make sounds in various ways.
Later in the term, they will be introduced to swimming, including basic swimming skills and practices. They will also learn about important safety rules to follow while swimming, such as not running near the pool and never swimming alone. These lessons will help pupils stay safe while being active and understand movement in their world.
