About Course

In this Mathematics class, you will start by learning about whole numbers—these are the counting numbers we use every day like 0, 1, 2, 3, and so on. You’ll also explore how to write numbers in Roman figures (like I, V, X, L) and how to count using the tally system.

Next, you’ll learn how to arrange whole numbers from smallest to biggest or biggest to smallest. You’ll also study how to find the Least Common Multiple (LCM) and the Highest Common Factor (HCF), which help when working with two or more numbers.

After that, you’ll focus on fractions. You’ll learn about the different types of fractions (like proper, improper, and mixed numbers), how to find equivalent fractions, and how to compare and arrange them in order. You’ll also learn how to change fractions into percentages.

Towards the end of the term, you’ll practice how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, and then finish up by learning estimation and measurement, which will help you make smart guesses and measure things correctly in daily life.

This term will help you build a strong foundation in numbers and how they work in real-life situations.
