About Course
This term in Mathematics, you will learn about money, measuring, shapes, and simple ways to collect and use information.
You will start by learning to identify Nigerian coins and notes, how to use them, and what they are worth. Next, you will learn how to measure length, like how long a pencil or book is, and also how to tell time using the clock. You’ll also explore weight, learning how heavy or light things are. Then, you’ll discover three-dimensional shapes like boxes and balls, and two-dimensional shapes like squares and circles. At the end of the term, you’ll be introduced to everyday statistics, which means gathering and talking about simple information from daily life, like how many people like a certain color.
