About Course

This term in Mathematics, you will learn how to read and write numbers up to one million using both words and figures. You will understand place value, which means knowing the value of each digit in a big number, like units, tens, hundreds, and so on.

You’ll also learn how to change fractions to decimals and how to find the prime factors of a number. Prime factors are numbers that can only be divided by 1 and themselves.

Next, you will explore ratio, which helps you compare quantities, like 2 apples to 3 oranges. You’ll practice the addition of whole numbers, especially when there are three or more items involved in the sum.

You will also work on adding and subtracting fractions, multiplying 3-digit numbers, and finding the square roots of numbers (which means finding the number that was multiplied by itself to get another number). Finally, you will learn how to divide numbers by 10, 20, 30 up to 90. All these will help you become faster and better at solving real-life math problems!
