About Course

This term in Mathematics, you will continue building your number skills in exciting ways. You will start by revising how to count and write numbers up to 9,999, then go further to learn how to count all the way to one million using ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands. You’ll also practice arranging numbers from smallest to biggest and comparing them using symbols like < (less than), > (greater than), and = (equal to). In addition, you’ll be introduced to Roman numerals, which are a different way people used to write numbers long ago.

Later in the term, you’ll begin learning about different types of fractions—like proper, improper, and mixed numbers—and how to order them correctly. You will also explore decimal fractions and how they work with both whole numbers
