About Course

This term in Mathematics, you will learn many new and exciting things about numbers and how we use them every day.

You will start with number sequences, which means learning how numbers follow each other in a special order. Then you will study place value so you can understand the value of each digit in a number — like knowing the difference between 100 and 10.

Next, you will practice adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers, helping you become better at solving bigger number problems. You will also be introduced to simple multiplication, which is a quicker way of adding the same number many times.

Later, you’ll learn about fractions, which show parts of a whole — like sharing one orange between two people. You will also explore money, learning how to count and use it. Finally, you’ll learn about measurement, which includes finding out the size, weight, or length of things around you.
