Students will start with resources and decision-making, learning how to manage available resources efficiently. This is followed by food nutrients, food hygiene, and food preparation, where they will understand the importance of a balanced diet, cleanliness in food handling, and proper cooking techniques. The lessons continue with kitchen equipment, food purchasing, processing, preservation, and safety, ensuring students develop practical knowledge of maintaining food quality and safety standards.
The term concludes with openings and fastenings in garment construction, leading into garment construction itself, where students will learn basic sewing techniques, fabric handling, and finishing methods.
