About Course
This term in Home Economics, you will learn many useful things that help you take care of yourself, your clothes, and your home.
You will begin by reviewing what you learned last term about food, nutrients, and healthy eating. Then, you will explore different methods of cooking, like boiling and roasting. You’ll also learn about personal grooming, how to use basic cosmetics, and how to take care of your personal clothing.
Later in the term, you’ll discover why we wear clothes, how to make liquid soap, and how to use and care for it properly. Finally, you will be taught different types of stitches, which are useful for mending or making clothes.
