Course Summary – Home Economics
This Home Economics course teaches learners about hygiene, water safety, and the importance of food in daily life.
It begins with the meaning of a toilet, the items found in the toilet, and toilet hygiene to promote cleanliness and health.
Students also learn ways of cleaning the surroundings of our homes and the process of water purification.
The course then introduces the meaning of food, the reasons why we eat food, and explores foods we get from animals as well as foods we get from plants.
By the end of the course, students will understand how to maintain personal and environmental cleanliness, ensure safe water, and identify various food sources for healthy living.
