About Course
This term introduces pupils to basic sewing skills in a fun and easy way. They will learn different types of stitches, including permanent stitches and how to sew them properly.
They will also explore decorative stitches, such as blanket or loop stitches, used to make clothes look neat and beautiful. As they continue, they’ll learn how to start making simple clothes, especially by understanding how to join pieces of fabric together through a process called seaming.
By the end of the course, pupils will have hands-on experience in basic stitching and simple clothing construction.
