About Course

In this term, you will learn how to talk politely and correctly when speaking to others. You’ll practice how to ask for permission, say what you must do (obligation), and talk about things that can happen (possibilities). You’ll also learn how to say sorry or excuse yourself politely in conversations.

You will write about your family and other topics to help you get better at writing. There will be fun writing activities like writing poems and filling in missing words in sentences.

You will learn how to use words like “can” and “may” in your own sentences and make your own good sentences from word tables.

There will be reading lessons too. You’ll read short passages that describe things around you, like the different ways people travel in Nigeria — by car, boat, bus, or airplane. You’ll also learn how to talk about places you have visited, like parks, zoos, or special buildings.

Everything you learn will help you speak, read, and write better English and feel more confident when you talk or write about what you know.
