About Course
In this course, pupils will enjoy reading and writing while building their English skills through fun stories and practical activities.
They will read and understand stories like “Dibia and the Zebra Crossing” and “The Boy Who Had Courage”, and also learn how to describe events such as a terrible rainstorm. They will explore word relationships in poems and learn how to use capital letters, punctuation marks like full stops and commas. Pupils will also practise writing short sentences about everyday activities using the correct tenses. To support clearer reading and writing, lessons will also focus on improving handwriting and pronouncing tricky sounds, especially consonants and consonant clusters.
