About Course

This term the subject focuses on strengthening students’ English language skills through grammar, phonetics, comprehension, and writing. It begins with nominalization of adjectives and verbs, helping students transform words into nouns for more formal writing. Phonetics and speech work cover consonant sounds, clusters, and syllables, improving pronunciation and spoken communication. Stress patterns are also introduced to enhance fluency. Additionally, complex sentence structures are analyzed to refine students’ understanding of sentence construction.

Writing skills are developed through essay writing, summary writing, and creative writing, where students will practice composing plays or poems. Letter writing is also covered, helping students structure formal and informal communication. The course includes phrasal verbs and vocabulary development, expanding students’ lexical range. Through comprehension exercises, students will improve their ability to analyze texts critically. This comprehensive curriculum enhances students’ proficiency in both written and spoken English.
