About Course

This term’s Computer Studies course focuses on deepening pupils’ understanding of the components of the computer system unit, with particular attention to storage devices. Over the weeks, learners will explore the disk drive and hard disk, identifying their functions, uses, and physical features.

Starting from the basics, pupils will examine the disk drive, then progress to detailed lessons on the hard disk. These lessons aim to build pupils’ foundational knowledge of how data is stored and retrieved in a computer, preparing them for more advanced topics in computing.
