About Course

This term, you will learn about important values that help us live well with others. You’ll begin by understanding what values are, like honesty and kindness, and why they matter.

You’ll also learn to respect other people’s cultures, even if they are different from yours. Then, you’ll explore how leaders help in a community and how people work together through communalism.

As we go further, you’ll study the different types of government, such as traditional and constitutional government, and discover how they are not the same. You’ll also learn about democracy — a system where people vote for their leaders.

Finally, you’ll learn how local and state governments work, what they do for the people, and some of the problems they face while trying to help the community. It will be a great time to understand how the society around you works!
