About Course
In this term, you will learn what Civic Education means and the important parts that make it special. You will be taught about your rights—what you are allowed to do—and your duties—what you must do—to help your country. You’ll also learn how people choose leaders through voting, which is called democracy, and why it is important to obey rules and work together in your community.
As you go further, you’ll discover what values like honesty and respect mean to your community and how culture and beliefs shape the way people live. You’ll learn about the different sides of Civic Education, including how it affects the laws we follow (legal), how we treat each other (social), how money and jobs work (economic), and how our culture helps us live together in peace. This subject will help you understand how to be a good and responsible citizen.
