About Course

This term explores the concept of national identity and how it shapes a citizen’s role in society. In the first two weeks, pupils are introduced to national consciousness and the importance of understanding and embracing their national identity.

Further lessons highlight key elements of national identity, such as the National Anthem, citizenship, tax, and national symbols like the flag, coat of arms, and currency. Pupils will understand how these elements unite citizens and reflect Nigeria’s sovereignty.

The term ends with an emphasis on patriotism, encouraging learners to develop love for their country and demonstrate loyalty through responsible citizenship.
