About Course

This term, pupils will learn all about the community they live in. They will discover who the members of a community are and the important rules everyone should follow to live together in peace. Pupils will also learn about community leaders, their roles, and the qualities that make them good examples for others.

They will explore the different types of work people do in both traditional and modern communities, such as farming, teaching, or trading. Finally, they will be introduced to the idea of conscience—that small voice inside us that helps us know right from wrong. This topic helps children understand how to be responsible and kind members of their community.
