About Course

This term introduces students to civic education topics starting with the meaning and importance of the constitution, followed by a deep look into human rights, including their meaning, forms, and the dangers of human rights abuse in society. Students will also explore ways to prevent these abuses and understand the rights and obligations of Nigerian citizens to promote responsible citizenship.

The second half of the course focuses on public safety and governance, covering traffic rules and regulations, causes and effects of road accidents in Nigeria, and basic facts about the state and its functions. It also introduces students to important road safety vocabulary, helping them grasp essential terms used in maintaining safety on Nigerian roads.
