About Course
This term, students will explore the importance of moderation and love in the Christian life. The lessons will begin by examining how moderation influences the way Christians live, make decisions, and relate with others. They will learn about the dangers of materialism, particularly the love of money, and how it can distract believers from spiritual growth and righteous living. The concept of love and unselfishness will also be emphasized, using biblical examples like the deep friendship between Jonathan and David, to illustrate selfless love in action.
In the second half of the term, students will study stories from the Bible that highlight peaceful coexistence and the avoidance of conflict. These include the reconciliation between Esau and Jacob, the peaceful separation between Abraham and Lot, and Isaac’s peaceful dealings with Abimelech. Through these stories, learners will understand the value of patience, forgiveness, and humility in building harmonious relationships and promoting peace in society, following Godly principles.
