This term’s Business Studies syllabus begins with an Introduction to Business Studies, laying the groundwork for understanding basic business concepts. Weeks 2 and 3 cover The Office, its meaning, functions, and importance. By Week 4, students explore the Different Departments in an Organization, followed by Introduction to Office Equipment in Week 5, helping them recognize tools used in modern workplaces.
In the second half, students learn about the Clerical Staff (Week 6), various Occupations (Week 7), and the concept of Trade (Week 8). Weeks 9 and 10 wrap up with Aids to Trade (like transportation, insurance, banking) and Direct and Indirect Services, giving students a broad overview of how goods and services move from producers to consumers.
