About Course
This term introduces students to fundamental aspects of commerce, starting with advertisement, transportation, and communication. Learners examine how goods and services are promoted, moved, and information is shared in the business world. Emphasis is placed on the advantages and disadvantages of different modes of transportation, along with the services provided by communication agencies, helping students understand the infrastructure that supports trade and commerce.
The later weeks shift toward consumer rights and business practices. Students are taught how to set simple business goals, understand the roles of consumer protection agencies, and learn practical steps to make complaints and seek redress when consumer rights are violated. This fosters an awareness of consumer advocacy and responsible business conduct.
