About Course

This term focuses extensively on processing materials, spanning the first six weeks. Students explore various methods and techniques for handling, transforming, and utilizing different materials in practical and industrial contexts. Emphasis is placed on understanding the properties, applications, and appropriate tools used in material processing, fostering hands-on skills and technical knowledge relevant to fields like manufacturing and engineering.

In the latter part of the term, attention shifts to technical and graphical representation. Weeks 7 and 8 are devoted to technical drawing, where students learn the foundational principles of creating accurate, scaled representations of objects. This is followed by lessons on isometric and oblique drawing, which introduce students to 3D visualization techniques essential for interpreting and creating engineering and architectural designs.
