ABOUT COURSE

In this course, we will learn about the things around us, how to stay safe, and how to use simple tools. Here’s what you will discover:

• Things in Our Classroom
  You will learn to name and talk about the things we see and use in our classroom every day.

• Things Around the School
  You will look around the school and learn the names of things like the playground, gate, office, and more.

• Things at Home
  You will learn to name common things you see at home, like chairs, tables, pots, and doors.

• Kinds of Roads Near Our School
  You will find out the types of roads near your school – some are smooth (tarred) and some are rough (untarred).

• What We Use a Broom For
  You will learn what a broom is used for and how to help keep places clean.

• How to Be Safe While Walking Along the Road
  You will learn how to stay safe when walking beside a road – like walking on the correct side and being careful.

• How to Cross the Road Safely
  You will be taught the right way to cross the road: stop, look, and listen before crossing.

• Using Can and Bottle Openers
  You will see what can and bottle openers look like and learn how they help us open things easily.

• Different Types of Soil
  You will learn about sandy soil, clay soil, and loamy soil – and what each one feels like.

• Taking Care of Simple Tools
  You will learn how to store small tools like scissors and screwdrivers safely so they don’t get lost or broken.
