About Course
This term introduces pupils to key scientific concepts by first exploring the differences and similarities between plants and animals as living things, followed by a study of the characteristics that define all living organisms. It then transitions into the topic of technology, where pupils learn about its various forms, including traditional and developed technologies, helping them understand how innovations have shaped our world.
In the latter part of the term, the focus shifts to energy and force. Pupils are introduced to the different forms of energy (such as heat, light, sound, etc.) and their uses in everyday life. The course wraps up with the topic of force, where learners explore various types of force and their effects on objects, fostering a practical understanding of basic physical science concepts.
