About Course
This term’s curriculum introduces students to the topic of weeds, their impact, and control methods. The first few weeks focus on understanding what weeds are, their effects on farmers, and how they can be controlled through various methods such as mechanical, chemical, and cultural practices. Interestingly, students will also explore the potential benefits of some weeds, such as their medicinal or ecological value.
The latter part of the term shifts to pests, diseases, and food preservation. Students will learn about different types of agricultural pests and diseases that affect crop yield and quality.
