About Course

This term in Mathematics, you will explore many fun and useful topics that help you understand the world around you better.

You will begin by learning how to tell the time accurately using a clock, so you can know when things happen during the day. After that, you will learn about weight, where you’ll compare how heavy or light different objects are.

Next, you will study capacity, which means how much liquid something can hold. You will also learn how to add and subtract capacities using liters.

As the term goes on, you will be introduced to angles by looking at the special properties of squares and rectangles. Then, you will explore symmetrical plane shapes, which are shapes that can be divided into two equal parts.

You’ll also learn about 3-dimensional shapes like cubes and cylinders that have length, width, and height.

Finally, you will be introduced to pictograms (pictures used to show data) and learn about mode, which is the number that appears most often in a group. These will help you understand how to collect and explain information in simple ways.
