About Course

This term in Mathematics, you’ll be learning some important algebraic and numerical concepts that will strengthen your problem-solving skills and prepare you for more advanced topics.

You’ll begin with Logarithms of numbers less than one, where you’ll explore how to work with very small values using logarithmic tables and understand how logarithms help simplify complex calculations. Then, you’ll move into Arithmetic Progression (A.P) and Geometric Progression (G.P) — these are sequences of numbers that follow a pattern. You’ll learn how to find terms, sums, and the general formula for each sequence type.

As the term progresses, you’ll tackle Quadratic Equations, learning how to solve them using different methods such as factorization, completing the square, and the quadratic formula. You’ll also study Simultaneous Equations, where you’ll solve for two unknowns using substitution or elimination methods. Finally, Linear Equations will help you build a solid foundation in forming and solving equations involving straight-line relationships.
