About Course

This term in Home Economics, pupils will learn how to take care of themselves and their home. They will begin by understanding why we take a bath, the materials needed, and steps to follow when bathing. They will also learn when to wash the body and what to do after bathing, like drying the body and wearing clean clothes.

Later, they will explore the different parts of the home, such as the sitting room, dining room, kitchen, store, bathroom, and toilet. They will learn how to take care of these rooms and what each room is used for. The term will end with a lesson on items found in the home and their different uses, helping pupils appreciate their home environment and how to keep it neat and useful.
