Social Studies

In Social Studies this term, pupils will be introduced to what Social Studies is all about and why it is important. They will learn about their community, including the people who live there and the different places in the community like schools, markets, and hospitals.

As the term goes on, they will explore cultural diversity—understanding that people have different ways of life. Pupils will learn the importance of these differences, what culture means, and the things that make up a culture like food, clothes, language, and music. Finally, they will learn why culture is important in Nigeria and how it helps people live together in peace.
