About Course

This term, students will begin by learning how to navigate and explore files on a computer system, starting from the desktop. This foundational skill helps them understand the structure of computer storage and file management. They will also explore the computer keyboard, identifying key functions and improving their typing proficiency—an essential skill for all future digital activities.

As the term progresses, students will be introduced to the internet and networking, gaining a basic understanding of how computers connect and communicate. They will learn about internet browsers and how to use them for research and information gathering. Building on this, they will dive into HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), the basic language of the web, and wrap up the term with an introduction to web development, where they will begin creating simple web pages—laying the groundwork for future coding and design skills.
