About Course

This term’s curriculum introduces students to foundational concepts in visual and performing arts. The early part of the term focuses on Arts, where students explore the meaning, forms, and importance of artistic expression. Following this, learners are introduced to music notation, where they learn how to read and write musical symbols, helping them understand rhythm, pitch, and melody.

The middle of the term covers drawing techniques, encouraging creativity and precision through various exercises. Students also learn pattern making and design, gaining insight into how visual patterns are created and used in both decorative and practical contexts. Toward the end of the term, students revisit music notes for deeper understanding and then transition into an introduction to weaving, which teaches the basics of textile design and craft using simple materials and techniques.
