About Course

This term’s English curriculum focuses on building students’ speech and grammar skills through a mix of pronunciation practice, composition, and grammar exercises. The first part of the term centers on consonant contrasts like /t/ vs. /s/, and vowel and nasal sounds such as /æ/, /ɜ:/, /u/, /u:/, and /ə/, helping students improve clarity in spoken English. Alongside this, the students work on speech work activities designed to strengthen their phonetic awareness.

In the grammar and writing sections, students engage with topics like article writing, question tags, and synonyms, sharpening both their written and grammatical expression. By the end of the term, students are expected to demonstrate improved accuracy in both their spoken and written English, equipped with a stronger command of pronunciation, word choice, and sentence structure.
