About Course

This term in Cultural and Creative Arts, you will learn many exciting things about art and design. First, you’ll learn the meaning of art and why it is important. Then, you’ll discover the elements and principles of design, which are the basic rules that make artworks look beautiful.

You’ll also learn about different types of lines and shapes and how they are used to create pictures. You’ll get to practice drawing and explore colours — how they are mixed and used in art.

As the term goes on, you will try fun activities like print making, using drawing materials to draw real-life objects (still life), and even make models using papier-mâché. It’s going to be a fun and creative term!
