About Course
This term in Agricultural Science, you will be learning all about crops and soil, which are important parts of farming. You’ll start with crop production and learn about the land and different types of soil, including their characteristics and how soil is formed.
You’ll go deeper into understanding the properties of soil and how to make soil more fertile to help crops grow well. You’ll also learn how to prepare compost manure and the steps involved in making it. At the end of the term, you will discover why it is important to process farm produce before it is sold or eaten.
